He didn’t really say that, of course. But imagine if he did!
In light of happenings this week, I feel it necessary to poke fun at Republicans‘ reluctant love affair with Mitt Romney, while also paying homage to the late, very great Ms. Whitney Houston.
That brings me to 2 things:
Dance with the one that brung ya…
Except in Mitt Romney‘s case. His dance card is empty than a mug. And the cats who already danced the dance, act like they can’t claim Ol Willard in public. tsk, tsk, tsk.
Mitt can’t believe this thing hangs in the balance for him. Again. His momentum is being sucked away by a guy whose name is synonymous with bowels. I imagine he chuckle-weeps in the mirror before each appearance. ”haha ha I mean, what’s not to like? ha…ha h…sniff…sniff…*gulp*”
Plenty, Mitt. Apparently, there’s plenty not to like.
Mitt just wants to dance with somebody, y’all. He just wants to dance with somebody who loves him.
And speaking of dancing with somebody, every now and then I’m reminded that Whitney Houston is no longer with us and it makes me sad. Not sad enough to be cryin and carryin on, but still sad.
It just sucks. Whitney Houston was a classic; her voice was one for an age. A light like Whitney Houston’s is supposed to shine well into the twilight. It just seems like she was taken way too soon. I hope she rests in peace.
