Another Conspiracy Theory About the Kennedy Assassination

This is not exactly a conspiracy theory since there is no claim of involvement by any outside party such as the CIA, mafia or even the Soviets. What I am presenting is some disturbing similarities between Lee Harvey Oswald (the sniper who allegedly murdered President Kennedy) and Jared Lee Loughner (the man charged with the shooting in Arizona in which six people were killed and 14 others, including U.S. Representative, Gabrielle Giffords, was injured). The similarities should drive you towards an unmistakable conclusion.

Let us look at the similarities:

Both were young at the time of assassination. Oswald was 24 years old and Loughner was 23.

Both dropped out of the school around the same age, Oswald at the age of 17, Loughner at the age of 16.

Both acted alone. To date, no one has found any concrete evidence of involvement by anyone else other than the shooter. However, in both cases, the hunt for external involvement is mostly limited to finding a physical link rather than a ‘spiritual’ connection.

Both indulged in left wing politics. Oswald defected to the Soviet Union and Loughner’s favorite reading material was supposed to be left leaning.

At the same time that both indulged in left wing politics, both had made anti-communist comments as well. For example, Oswald complained that American policies pushed Cuba towards communism. Loughner complained about government ownership of property.

Both had an inflated opinion about their intelligence, aggrandized view of their place in the world and their ability to bring about a revolution. Psychological evaluation of both has come to the same conclusion. The indulgence in left wing politics was a manifestation of their narcissistic, ego driven tendencies rather than any real interest in left wing politics.

Both indulged in extreme right thoughts as well. Loughner is fiercely anti-abortionist who believes in coming apocalypse (a known sign of extreme right wing politics). Lee Harvey Oswald had a close association with Kerry Wendell Thornley,  a strong supporter of liberty, private ownership and small government.

Both were anti-Semitic, pro-white supremacists. Oswald’s favorite book was Mein Kampf, and Loughner was fascinated with American Renaissance, a known anti-Semitic magazine.

I hope by now you have the feeling that the similarity between the two is not accidental; there is something deep here. This leads me to conclude that the motives of one may tell us about the motives of the other.

There was no social media at the time of Oswald but Loughner has left his mark on MySpace and YouTube. Let us look at some of his comments:

“You don’t have to accept the federalist laws. “

“If property owners and government officials are no longer in ownership of their land and laws from a revolution then the revolutionary’s from the revolution are in control of the land and the laws. “

“The property owners and government officials are no longer in ownership of their land and laws from a revolution.”

“No! I won’t pay debt with a currency that’s not backed by gold and silver!”

“The government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar. If you’re literate in English grammar, then you comprehend English grammar. The majority of people, who reside in District-8, are illiterate – hilarious. I don’t control your English grammar structure, but you control your English grammar structure.”

(The last comment probably needs some explanation. As crazy as this idea seems, government trying to employ mind-control techniques by controlling grammar is an idea that is very popular in certain extreme right wing philosophies. Look up David Miller as an example.)

We have enough data to come to a conclusion:

  • These men are not some crazy left-wing liberal nut-jobs. Crazy? Yes, left-wing liberals? No.
  • Rather than left-wing, it is obvious from the above discussion what kind of talk pushed Loughner over the edge.
  • We can also start guessing as to who bears the moral responsibility for the Kennedy assassination.

At this point I will put aside a discussion as to how Nietzsche’s books influenced Loughner and how Ayn Rand falls into the same equation. This is a very subtle disease, and it requires a substantial explanation.
