Ann Coulter’s Legacy

We are tempted to say that Ann Coulter‘s legacy is her unflinching support of bigotry.

Ann Coulter's Legacy.

After Ms. Coulter tweeted that President Obama is a “retard,” Barbara decided to draw a Coulter cartoon and asked our facebook friends for a suggestion. One of them, to whom this Art-itorial is dedicated, replied, “You could draw a [steaming] pile of crap and put long blonde hair on it,” and the result is what you see above. For that is, indeed, how we view this, this, this, thing, uh, person. She’s bigoted against African-Americans, Latinos, Gays, Lesbians, Jews and any group one can name that isn’t just like she is. She claims to be a Republican, but appeals only to that over-grown fraction of Republicans who appear to have hate as their only true emotion. Did we mention that she believes the US of A is a Christian nation and that Jews must be “perfected?” Did we mention her ironic contempt for the rights of women? Did we mention that she believes that Muslims should be banned from all air travel and that all terrorists are Muslim?

Then, to turn the tables, as the right-wing is liable to do at the drop of a hat, she claims that she feels no hatred toward anyone but that her critics simply hate conservatives. I guess it takes a hater to know one.
