The AP carried a story about a 5-year-old boy accidentally shooting his 2-year-old sister to death in rural southern Kentucky. It seems that he had received the gun as a gift last year. It is less than a week after the shooting in Aurora, Colorado; the first victims are being buried, some wounded are leaving hospitals and gun sales are up over 40% since the murders.
