Chris Collins from Planet Foot-in-mouth

Republican Congressional hopeful Chris Collins from the Planet Footinmouth (otherwise known as Buffalo, NY) on July 4th told a local newspaper that, “People now don’t die from prostate cancer, breast cancer and some of the other things.”  Of course, that’s not all he said, but it was enough to get him in hot water for his apparent insensitivity to people with cancer.  Apparently, he was attempting to explain the high cost of health care, and simply couldn’t help it that his foot got in the way of his words.  Chris Collins is challenging Rep. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.), who was chosen in a special election in May 2011.

Don’t we want someone in office who not only understands how important healthcare is…but knows that sensitivity matters too? We won’t mention his track record as Erie County’s executive — why bother to mention all of the outrageous comments and antics of a Mr. “Lapdance” who doesn’t want to pay his fair share of taxes?

Don’t waste your vote by giving it to someone who wants to waste taxpayer time and dollars. Kathy Hochul is looking forward to an economic plan.
