Why Are Right Wing Extremists So Anti-Islamic?

Simple. It has nothing to do with the color of skin. It’s nothing that simple. In fact, most right wingers don’t know WHY they are Islamophobic. They just know they “support Israel” because their leaders “support Israel” and they must do as their leaders tell them because that’s why we have leaders because they know better than we do.

Here’s the real reason the leading right wing extremists are anti-Islamic. It has nothing to do with being pro-Jewish. In fact, most of them would just as soon have anything to do with Jews as they would with Muslims.

They are not pro-Jew. They are pro-Israel. There’s a difference.

See, you could take all the Jews and protect them from Islamic terror and move them to their own nation in Kansas. But that won’t bring Jesus back.

AHA! That’s what the right wing extremists want. They want their JESUS to come back. And he ain’t comin’ back unless he has an ISRAEL to come home to!

Think I’m kidding?

Our main task, as Christians, is to keep the Jews alive until after the Rapture. That is when all the true-believers will be whisked away to heaven. This will come as quite a surprise to the passengers on the jumbo jets being piloted by Christians, but what are the chances that an entire flight crew will be true, believing, born again Christians, right?

This is one of the most popular working prophecies. There are variations, but they tend to center around the same theme. Rapture, Antichrist appears, Temple in Jerusalem rebuilt. Three and a half years later, Antichrist enters temple, declares himself God, kills two-thirds of Jews. Remaining Jews become Christian. Too bad for the two out of three who didn’t “see the light” and are burning in Hell. Ironic, since Jews don’t believe in Hell.

But if Israel is destroyed BEFORE the rapture? That means the prophecies are wrong. Or we misinterpreted them. And there’s no way THAT’S possible. So, we gotta keep Israel around long enough for the Jews to return to Israel and when Jew # (whatever magic number God has in mind) sets foot on Israeli soil, THAT’S when the Rapture can happen and the truly saved will go to heaven without having to die first and the rest of us are pretty well fucked.

Now, if the pro-Israel Christians were HONEST about this (or if they know about it, which is a pretty safe call to say that most don’t), they would preach from the pulpit, “We can avoid death, but only because two-thirds of the Jews of Israel will inevitably die in a future holocaust. America must therefore support the nation of Israel in order to keep the Israelis alive until after the Rapture.”

Don’t believe me? Would you believe — Jesus? The source of the idea of the Great Tribulation is found in Jesus’ last words regarding Israel, which are recorded in Matthew 24 and Luke 21.

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Luke 21:20-24).

So, HEY! Don’t blame US! Blame JESUS! And after what the Jews did to HIM, little wonder, right?

Until 1948, there was a huge hole in this theory. There was no “Israel.” And the Holocaust could be seen, if one wanted to look at it that way, as Satan’s attempt to keep the Second Coming from happening by destroying all the Jews. No Jews, no Jesus coming back. Get it?

But when the state of Israel was created by United Nations fiat in 1948, this gave Christian extremists reason to hope that Jesus would finish what Hitler started. If that sounds flip, please excuse… but that’s how it is, and how it would be preached if those who really believe this stuff cared to be honest about it.

So, here’s the chain of events you should be watching for, if you believe this. But then, if you really believe this, you won’t be here to see it because seven years before Jesus comes back, you will be whisked away in the Rapture.

More and more Jews return to Israel. A coalition of Muslim nations will attack Israel. Figure Iran into this somehow. God will personally destroy this coalition. Then the Antichrist will manifest himself as a world leader and there will be peace in Israel for three-and-a-half years. He will allow the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem on the current site of the Mosque of the Rock, one of Islam’s holiest places. But the Muslims will have been defeated — by God. So who’s gonna stop ’em? In three-and-a-half years, the Antichrist will mosey into the Temple and declare himself God. The Jewish nation will declare bullshit on that, and the Antichrist will destroy two thirds of them. The remaining one-third will become Christians. Jesus will come back. He will cast the Antichrist into the Lake of Fire and bind up Satan for a thousand years during which time there will be no sickness and death. If you’ve made it this far without getting raptured or antichristed, you will live the entire 1,000 years. You will still have free will, so you can still sin. At the end of the 1,000 years, Jesus will resurrect the dead. It will be very, very crowded on the planet. Then he will decide who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. And there yuh go!

So, when you hear a non-Jewish rabid pro-Israel right wing extremist talking about the need to save Israel, that’s what he’s talking about. Jewish right wing extremists? They just hate Arabs. Pamela Gellar, for instance.

Sleep tight.
