More history has been reported during tonight’s election results. In addition to Elizabeth Warren’s Senate win in Massachusetts which makes her the first female senator from Massachusetts, Tammy Baldwin won the Wisconsin Senate race which makes her the first openly gay senator.

Scott Walker: Only 282,148 jobs short of creating 250,000

I am fortunate enough to be on the E-update list from the Desk of Scott Walker. It’s been illuminating. Good times.

Now, grant you, Scott Walker was not recalled; on the other hand, Dems regained control of the Senate chamber. And in better news, even as Wisconsinites were re-electing Scott Walker, President Obama won over Romney in the exit polls.… [Read more]

Scott Walker has held on, and though the Democrats have taken the house, the overhaul of repressive labor legislation seems now a pipe dream.… [Read more]

Terry has toured all of the major Occupy sites in the Northwest — singing this song in the streets, protestors singing along with him.… [Read more]

A Hungry Mob Is An Angry Mob*

Them belly full but we hungry… A hungry mob is an angry mob

~  *Bob Marley, ‘Them Belly Full’

Powerful words – and they’re something that those at the top of the socio-political pyramid should think about.  Personally, I am waiting for the day when those who don’t have ‘a full belly’, i.e., the poor and ever-declining middle-class, finally become truly angry.  … [Read more]
